About our Founder
Biome PHS is a woman-owned business, founded by Olivia Sterantino in 2024. Olivia achieved her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with honors from Lafayette College in 2023. She is now pursuing a Master of Health Science online through the University of Florida in Environmental and Global Health; One Health, where she is researching farmers' resilience to climate change in the West African Sahel. After volunteering for the Planetary Health Alliance, where she researched the mental health effects of climate change, Olivia saw a need for a solutions-oriented Planetary Health presence in the private sector. Olivia started Biome PHS with the intention to develop holistic and effective solutions to the challenges of living, farming, and thriving in the Anthropocene, and to improve the health of as many people as possible.
